Support for Windows 10 April 2018 Update

This is to inform you about the operation of Roland products under the Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
* Windows 10 April 2018 Update is applied as Windows 10, version 1803. For information on how to determine the version, see here.

We have been notified that after applying the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, some editors and other applications provided by Roland and some applications of other make interlinked with Roland hardware become unusable.
We investigated the cause, and determined that this occurs because the "Allow apps to access your microphone" setting in Windows 10 is set to "Off" after the update.
Changing the microphone setting to "On" resolves the problem. For information on how to check and change the setting, see here.
No other operation-related problems under the Windows 10 April 2018 Update have been found (June 22, 2018).
