Battery Life

battery

How many times a day do you check your phone?

If you are anything like millions of others, you check your phone hundreds of times a day.  Social media, time, weather, calls, texts, so on and so forth.

What if we all checked in on ourselves that much? What if we rested when we were just tied instead of when we were exhausted? What if you ate when you were just hungry, rather than when you are famished.

I could go on with the what if’s, but I think you get my point.

  1. It’s not that I don’t take care of myself, but for the last few months I have found out that I overwork because it keeps my mind off other things, it keeps me focused, sure that is the wrong reason and it isn’t good for me, and I should take better care of myself, but it’s just that time of the year when it happens 🙂

  2. Love this. We sometimes get so caught up in moving forward, staying dedicated, or just sulking in our sorrows. However, we always need to make time for ourselves.

  3. I can relate to this post. Our health must be our priority and then other things. You gave very good advice and I really liked the way you explained everything in just few words. Very well written post. you are absolutely a good writer.

  4. Self-care is definitely a priority! I used to do so many things for people and just completely put aside myself. Those people have forgotten what I have done for them and that made me realized a lot of things.

  5. I try not to think too much of “what ifs” and rather think “what I can”. And when my battery runs out, I have no regrets.
