Last week was a busy week, as me, and my team, get ready for our first small business networking event.
I’ve been putting last minute touches on everything, and making sure everything is in order so we can enjoy the time together…but most importantly “Do Business”.
Running a business is exciting but can also be exhausting. So please remember that you are your small business, you are the face, you are the logo and the brand, and if you don’t look and feel well, it will show up in your business.
I was speaking with a financial advisor, in NYC, last Friday, and with the time difference, it was almost 5 my time, I was ready to shut the business me down and get some rest. As he continued to talk I waited until he paused to tell him…we would have to continue our conversation next week.
We have to know when to call it quits for the day. If you work an 8-5, at 5 you go home. Do the same with your business, even if you work from home.
Cheers to the small business owners who take time to take care of themselves, so they can take care of business. I AM PROUD OF YOU 💜
