Genuine Kindness has almost become a thing of the past. Nowadays, if someone does something kind for someone they want to make a video or take a picture of it just to make sure the world knows what they did. This morning I had the “pleasure” of making my first video for my RBT class …after 32(literally) takes and four wardrobe changes..lol…I finally made something I felt “pretty ok” about sharing publicly. The KIND person who helped me do this new thing, was so incredibly patient with me and so encouraging; however she didn’t want me to thank her publicly or even acknowledge her in the video….’I didn’t do this for a thank you, I did it cas I love you”…”and you bet not cry and look crazy in the video” were her words to me as we hit our finally product. So important to just be kind to be kind. I feel this so much lately especially since I am trying to teach my children about kindness as well.

I definitely feel like the people who want to record their kindness aren’t exactly kind. They are doing it all for show for their own benefit. Having genuine kindness in the world is so important.

I never understood it why people show off kindness! My dad would always say, if you give money to someone with your right hand, your left hand shouldn’t know about it! Be genuine 🙂 I am glad you have a wonderful kind friend in your life ❤ Love reading the post.

You hit the nail on the head with this one! So often we see recordings of people feeding the homeless. I literally could never bring myself to do it. It’s one revolution that should not be televised. Period.
